Keratolux Shampoo is a soothing, yet deep cleansing shampoo for dogs, cats and horses that helps keep the coat clean and shiny longer. This unique, tar-free formula contains Spherulites® Microcapsules, with an anti-adhesive glycotechnology that is both anti-irritant and limits the bonding of microorganisms to the surface of the skin. It also contains Salicylic Acid, Zinc Gluconate, and Pyroxidine HCl to help remove scales, crusts and excessive oil associated with keratoseborrheic disorders such as oleosa and sicca. The Spherulites® Microcapsules provide a slow release of ingredients long after application, to help keep your pet cleaner, longer. Keratolux Shampoo also contains Chitosanide, a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and hair coat.

The 8 oz bottle is a decent size for my medium dog, and it lathers up nicely during his weekly bath. It does the job for his itchy skin, though I wish it had a slightly stronger scent to mask that wet-dog smell afterward.
